Why are the fundraising minimums changing for races from 2027 onwards?

From 1 January 2027, the minimum fundraising commitments attached to HYROX charity tickets are changing. If you're racing at a HYROX event in 2026, nothing changes for you: your minimums are set out in the terms at rfi.run/tc. For events from 1 January 2027 onwards, the new minimums apply, and you can find them at rfi.run/terms.

There are three reasons behind the change.

Covering the real cost of every charity ticket. There is a cost to us in providing each charity ticket, from securing the ticket itself to the coaching, tools and support that help you fundraise. We want every ticket to cover that cost, so that we can keep passing on the highest possible proportion of every donation to our rigorously vetted, high-impact partner charities. The new minimums make sure each ticket stands on its own feet, and that your supporters' generosity goes where it counts most.

One simple minimum for everyone. We are also streamlining the minimums so that the same amount applies per person, whether you hold a singles ticket or are part of a Doubles or Relay team. This keeps things simple, prevents confusion, and levels the playing field across every ticket category.

Raising the bar, because you keep clearing it. Impact Racers have consistently exceeded our expectations. Many charge past their minimum well before race weekend, and plenty raise several times over it. In sport, when athletes keep clearing the bar, the bar goes up. The new minimums reflect the ambition and achievement our community has already shown, and we're confident you'll rise to meet them, just as you do in training.

Raising more means more lives improved and more impact delivered, so however high your minimum is, don't stop there!
