Cancellations and Changes
HYROX manages all tickets to their events (including spectator tickets), and so you should contact them at support.hyrox.com, for any requests to cancel or update your ticket (including changing racer name, event, team members, or race date).
Note that any decision about cancelling/updating your ticket will be made by HYROX, and we can't guarantee that this your request will be granted. However, HYROX should be able to cancel tickets purchased by mistake, if you contact them within 24 hours of ticket purchase.
Any changes to your HYROX ticket should flow through to your fundraising profile. If this isn't the case for you, then please follow our advice here to inform us.
Transferring your ticket to a different event
If HYROX transfer your charity ticket to a different event (or cancel it and you re-register for another event), your existing donations don't have to be lost. Contact us with confirmation from HYROX that the transfer or cancellation has taken place — a screenshot of an email chain works well — and we can apply your existing donations to your new event's fundraising profile.
You'll need to contact HYROX first to arrange the ticket transfer or cancellation before getting in touch with us. You can reach HYROX at support.hyrox.com.
Completing Race for Impact
We would love to support you to raise funds for high-impact charities through Race for Impact. Though it can seem challenging, it's a great opportunity to make your HYROX race even more meaningful. Charity tickets provide a meaningful way to connect athletic achievements with charitable impact.
Simply activate your fundraising profile by following the instructions we provided in your welcome email. Then share with your network, and we'll continue providing tips and advice to help you meet your fundraising goal. Many Impact Racers are surprised at how quickly they're able to meet their fundraising commitment, once they commit themselves to the cause.
Other options
Alternatively, if you do not want to fundraise from your network via our coached fundraising campaign, you are welcome to make a personal contribution equal to the minimum fundraising requirement, to secure your spot in the race. You can do that by donating to your own campaign, bringing the fundraising total to the required amount. This personal contribution fulfils the mandatory fundraising requirement.
Finally, in some cases HYROX have been able to invalidate tickets (without refunds) for racers who are no longer able to race due to injury etc. This removes the fundraising requirement from the ticket. You may contact HYROX at support.hyrox.com to request an invalidation, though again we can't advise on whether they will grant this.
Important: If you are unable to race and do not participate in the event, you will not be blacklisted from future HYROX charity tickets for not meeting your fundraising minimum. We still recommend requesting a ticket invalidation from HYROX where possible, as this formally removes the fundraising requirement from your ticket.
