What happens to the funds I have raised if I have to withdraw from the race?

Firstly, we hope you're able to complete the race!

However, we understand that sometimes injuries happen or plans change - commiserations if this is the case for you. If so, the funds that you have raised will be directed to the high-impact charities in your chosen cause area, as originally planned.

Also note that you can still fundraise and support the cause via your fundraising profile, even if you're unable to race.

Will I be blacklisted if I can't race and haven't hit my fundraising minimum? No. If you do not participate in the event, you will not be blacklisted from future HYROX charity tickets for not meeting your fundraising minimum. However, we recommend contacting HYROX to request that your ticket is invalidated, which formally removes the fundraising requirement from your ticket. You can find guidance on this here.

Alternatively, if you purchased a 'Flex add-on' to your HYROX charity ticket, then you should be able to transfer your ticket to a friend, as long as they also commit to the fundraising goal.
