Your fundraising page link is your most useful tool. The more people see it, alongside a clear reason to give, the more donations come in.
Share your public page link
Copy the link from your public fundraising page, not your dashboard: a dashboard link only works for you (see My fundraising page won't load or shows an error). When you share your link, apps like WhatsApp and Facebook usually show a preview with your name and profile photo, so a good profile photo makes every share look better.
On Instagram and TikTok
Add your page link to your bio and point people to it in your posts.
On Instagram Stories, add a link sticker with your page link so viewers can tap through and donate. QR codes don't work on a Story, so keep them for print.
Use Photo Lab to turn your photo and live fundraising total into a branded image with your link. See How do I use Photo Lab to share my fundraising?
Run an Instagram fundraiser so your followers can donate inside the app. See Can I fundraise on Instagram?
Tag @raceforimpact and add #RaceForImpact so our social team sees your post. See Can Race for Impact share my social media post?
Keep showing up
Post regular updates: a training session, a fundraising milestone, the countdown to race day. Tell people why you're racing and what your cause supports, and end every post with a direct ask and your link. Cause graphics and ready-made social posts are on our resources page at raceforimpact.com/resources.
Beyond social media
Add your page link to your email signature. There's a template in our workplace resources.
Print a QR code poster for your gym, office or local café. See How do I get and share a QR code for my fundraising page?
Message people directly. A personal message makes people feel seen and is harder to ignore than a post. See Are there tips for how to reach my fundraising target?
