Is it possible to accept offline donations through my fundraising page?

Accepted Answer

If someone gives you cash or a cheque, you should donate the same amount to your fundraising page on Race For Impact, and then pay yourself back using the cash or cheque you received. This keeps all your progress in one place and ensures every contribution is counted towards your campaign total.

I am a photographer/videographer, how do I get a media accreditation?

How do I get a refund on my HYROX ticket?

As Race For Impact does not manage HYROX tickets or any race entries, we are unable to process refunds or make any changes to your ticket. For refunds, transfers or any changes to your HYROX ticket, please reach out to HYROX support at https://hyrox.com/contact/

How do I buy a HYROX charity ticket?

To sign up to race for impact, you will need to purchase a charity ticket for your chosen HYROX event. You will do this on the official HYROX website https://hyrox.com. Find the Hyrox event you want to race in. In the ticket options, select 'Charity' ticket in your chosen race category. Before completing your registration, you will be asked to agree to fundraise a minimum amount on Race For Impact. Once you complete your charity ticket purchase, you will receive a follow-up email from Race for Impact inviting you to set up your fundraising page on our platform. Then you can let us know if you have any further questions from there.

What happens if I don't reach the minimum fundraising target? Can I have a reduced target?

As an Impact Racer, the win isn’t just your race time; it’s the impact you unlock along the way.

Your HYROX charity ticket comes with an obligation to reach your minimum fundraising target in exchange for a discounted entry to your HYROX race. Meeting your fundraising commitment is a condition of taking part as an Impact Racer.

If you’re having difficulty, let us know early so we can provide tools, ideas, and strategies to help you get there. We’ve built Race for Impact to make it easy and rewarding to collect donations from your network, and we’ll work with you to find the best approach for your situation.

Fundraising is a challenge, and that’s part of what makes it so meaningful. Just as every athlete faces the same wall ball height, row distance, and lunge walk length, we apply the same fundraising minimum for everyone to keep the race fair. Many Impact Racers exceed their targets well before race day — and if you’d prefer not to actively fundraise, you’re welcome to make a personal contribution to bring your campaign over the line.

I don't want to fundraise, can I convert my charity ticket into a regular Hyrox ticket?

Accepted Answer

No, you're unable to convert your Charity ticket into a regular HYROX ticket. HYROX manage all event ticketing, and so ticket enquiries will need to be sent to HYROX directly: https://hyrox.com/contact/. Depending on your ticket category, you may be able to transfer your ticket to another racer, who would inherit your fundraising commitment.

However, we’d love to support you to raise funds for high-impact charities through Race for Impact. Though it can seem challenging, it’s a great opportunity to make your HYROX race even more meaningful. Simply create your fundraising profile and share with your network, and we’ll continue providing tips and advice to help you meet your fundraising goal. Many Impact Racers are surprised at how quickly they’re able to meet their fundraising commitment, once they commit themselves to the cause.

Alternatively, if you do not want to fundraise from your network via our coached fundraising campaign, you are welcome to make a personal contribution equal to the minimum fundraising requirement, to secure your spot in the race. You can do that by donating to your own campaign, bringing the fundraising total to the required amount.
